Recharge

After a week of illness and cold and sleep we are back to being social. Sometimes taking a bit of time to be in your home, to wear pajamas, sleep as much as you can, and do nothing is the best thing for you. Jen and I spent the last week with almost no outside interactions, with a cold bouncing between us and just doing as little as possible. We are both feeling better now, and this week is a busy one, back to hanging out with friends and family, playing boardgames, and being active. The hard part is, its some of the coldest most unwelcoming weather we have had in years. Frozen pipes most mornings in the near zero temperatures. Ice covers the sidewalks and driveway, only covered by a thin dust of snow. Just waiting to cause an accident. But, despite all of that, I am getting a trickle of energy, a small amount of recharge. I know that spring is coming, the Cailleach was out gathering wood but that will only last so long.

So the recharge, while it is small and slow going there have been stirrings in my deep thoughts. I am starting up my Bridgman studies again, getting back to my Proko course and hitting my sketchbook daily. It’s slow going but any progress is better than none. I will be opening the store and populating it with stickers soon, just want to get a few financial things sorted out to ease any roadbumps.

I don’t know if anyone reads these other than myself and Jen but I guess thats not what they are for. The blog posts are not for attention or interaction even. I just want to keep myself active and engaged and have a record of the journey.

If you are reading the posts, thanks for the time spent. Hope you enjoy the comics. Happy Wednesday folks.
