Glitch in the Matrix

Mother Nature is pulling a joke this morning. I finished up the Quest for Spring storyline, we had the actual Spring Equinox a few days ago and I wake up to a fresh blanket of snow. Cool cool….

That’s ok, I suppose if I was to do the “back in my day” vibe I can recall snow as late as April/May. The wheel turns as fast or slow and as erratically as it likes. So to be positive I am just watching the flakes tumble lazily in the air past my window, pretending and looking like I am in a giant snow globe. So what’s new this week? I did get the store opened, with a whopping 1 sticker of Dag. Need to work more on that, get some more options up. I plan on adding in coupons for my email subscribers once I get this sorted out, it takes a bit of trial and error. Learning the way the website works, the rules and maintenance of it sometimes feels like a full time job. Squarespace is where I host this and its cool and does make it easier for me, I am not a website designer nor do I want to be. So without a hosting and user interface platform I would be a bit stuck. Still, some of the nuances of the platform are new to me.

Still reading Marcus Aurelius, comic books, a novel called Thistlefoot, a self help book called the Slight Edge, third book in the Bear and the Nightengale series; The Winter of the Witch. Gotta buckle in and knock some of those out, put them in the read category.

Beyond that I started trying to get some more outdoor exercise and promptly injured my foot. Nothing too serious but it has slowed me down, along with the boomerang winter days. But I will be back out hoofing it soon. The exercise is nice but I also get alot of my creative juices flowing as I wander around town and down through our local cemetery. Would be nice if we had parks but that’s not a thing in our town, unless you want to play baseball I suppose. Going to get my bike out of storage soon as well, once the snow retreats for good. Basketball, biking, maybe some hackey sack in the back yard. Looking forward to spending time outdoors. Wondering if I am going to have to go to war with the Robins this year over who the front porch belongs too.

Rambling at this point….

Thanks for reading, new comics coming Sunday, on to a different story after the Quest for Spring.
