Algorithm Woes
It is a chilly Wednesday morning and I would really appreciate the spring warmth if it would show up and stay. But I suppose appreciating my hot cup of coffee is easier on frosty mornings.
So what’s new this week?
I started an art challenge, mostly to get myself doing something. I call it the Ground Up approach, I am working on human anatomy so I start at the feet, draw pages and page of them, days and days until I move on to the legs and so on. I am using my Bridgman book as a basis but I end up wanting more references and more poses so I have been pulling art references on my phone. Though my search engine doesn’t know why I spent an hour looking at feet last night I get the impression it is judging me….
Other musings… I have a habit of journaling every morning, its part of my ritual. Get up, make coffee, journal and listen to punk music. Today I finished a notebook, last page. It’s a meaningless milestone but I always like to thank my journals for listening to me as I finish them. Yes I talk to inanimate objects, yes they answer. No further questions on this subject. So blue cover journal is retired and black cover is on deck.
Insomnia has been kicking my butt for a few days but I think that will sort itself out once the weather is slightly nicer and I can spend more time outdoors.
This weeks comic was fun to draw, Dag starting to tell a story, I have some plans on this story arc and will get to draw some things I don’t often focus on. Should be fun
Hope you are enjoying reading, have a great day/week.
